Cookie policy

Last updated 23 September 2026

This website uses no cookies at all, which is why you were not asked to accept any. It remembers your light or dark choice on your own device only if you use the switch. The Cybermain platform uses two cookies, only to keep you signed in.

1. This website: cybermain.co.uk

No cookies. This site sets no cookies and uses no tracking pixels or fingerprinting. It loads no analytics, advertising or social media code, and every font, image and script comes from our own domain.

One remembered setting. If you use the light/dark switch, your browser keeps your choice in its local storage under the name cybermain-theme, so the site opens in the theme you picked next time. It holds only the word light or dark, stays on your device, and is never sent to us. Nothing is stored unless you use the switch. You can clear it by clearing this site's data in your browser.

2. The Cybermain platform: app.cybermain.co.uk

When you sign in to the platform, it sets the two cookies below. Both are strictly necessary: without them you could not stay signed in. Neither is used for analytics, advertising or tracking, and neither is shared with anyone.

CookieWhat it doesHow long it lasts
cybermain_session Keeps you signed in. Your browser sends it only to the platform's sign-in service, and page scripts cannot read it. 30 minutes after your last activity, and never more than 12 hours. Deleted when you sign out.
cybermain_session_oidc Links you to a sign-in in progress when your organisation uses single sign-on, so the response from your identity provider cannot be replayed by anyone else. 10 minutes, only while you are signing in.

Both cookies are marked HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax, which means page scripts cannot read them, they are sent only over HTTPS, and they are left off the background requests that other websites can trigger.

4. Controlling cookies

You can view and delete cookies in your browser's settings. Blocking cookies has no effect on this website. If you block the platform's cookies, you will not be able to stay signed in to it.

5. Changes

If this changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Questions about cookies or your data: hello@cybermain.co.uk.
